Tribute to Mado Lemieux

Mado Lemieux suffered massive heart rupture.  She had never been sick before.  Mado was dynamic, playful and attentive, the kind of person one never forgets.

As a tribute to her, André "Moto" Gareau rode through 48 States in 9 days in the US Iron Butt Rally.  He donated the funds collected along the way – $1,300 – to the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation to help researchers detect and cure sudden death from heart disease. 

A free spirit and caring man, this motorcycle aficionadois getting ready to go to Haiti to help rebuild the country’s community radio network.
