Donor Recognition

Honour Wall

If your accrued contributions over the years total $5,000 or more from any type of donation (campaigns, events, etc.), your name will be placed on the Foundation’s prominently displayed honour wall near the Institute’s main entrance.  The honour wall is comprised of six (6) categories:

• $5,000 to $19,999
• $20,000 to $99,999
• $100,000 to $249,000
• $250,000 to $499,999
• $500,000 to $999,999
• $1 million and over

The list appearing on the honour wall is revised annually.  The names of donors who have contributed $100,000 or more will be left in perpetuity; others must make at least one gift every five years for their names to continue appearing on the wall.

Dr. Paul-David Society (PDS)

You automatically become a member of the Dr. Paul-David Society (PDS) if you contribute a total of $250 or more in one or several donations during the year; planned gifts and donations to the Heart Beat for the Future campaign are excluded.

The Society has four distinct categories:

• Member: $250 $ to $499
• Benefactor: $500 to $1,249
• Pioneer: $1,250 to $2,499
• Companion: $2,500 and more

Members of the Dr. Paul-David Society are entitled to various privileges, including Click here to find out what privileges are associated with each category.

Member privileges include:

• A membership certificate
• The Foundation Up Beat newsletter
• The Foundation annual report upon request

In addition:

• Benefactor privileges include an invitation to the Foundation’s annual conference
• Pioneer privileges include an invitation to the Foundation’s annual general meeting
• Companion privileges include a V.I.P. meeting with the executive directors of the Montreal Heart Institute

Loyalty Group

If you have been donating to the Foundation for five consecutive years, you are part of the thousands of donors who members of the MHIF Loyalty Group.  In fact, the Foundation is honoured to have some 270 loyal donors who have been supporting the Institute for over 20 years!  As a loyal donor, you are invited to the Foundation’s annual lecture given by one or more members of the Institute’s medical team.  It is a unique opportunity to network with top specialists in the field of cardiology, with Foundation staff and other donors.

The Visionary Team

You have made a bequest to the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation or will donate an insurance policy or a charitable annuity?  Thank you for your support and for being a Visionary!  As a Friend of the Visionary Team of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation, you are entitled to:

• a membership certificate
• the Foundation newsletter - UpBeat
• an invitation to certain Foundation events.
