Currently in progress, this ambitious plan has now reached 50 percent of its objective. As it stands, phase 1 has been completed and $100 million in investments have been secured from the MHIF, the Quebec government, as well as from other partners. During this phase, the Institute was able to begin renovating its operating theatre, obtain authorizations and funding for the expansion of the Research Centre, and for the construction of the University of Montreal Beaulieu-Saucier Pharmacogenomics Centre and purchase cutting-edge medical equipment.

The investments generated by this plan will allow the Institute to recruit and retain top cardiovascular specialists, continue providing the best possible cardiovascular care available to Quebecers and efficiently disseminate knowledge and innovations.
