Montreal Heart Institute Foundation names new Executive Director

The Montreal Heart Institute Foundation's Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Michelle Mercier has been named Executive Director.
She will take office on February 21, 2005. Ms.
Mercier succeeds André Ducharme, who has served as
Interim Executive Director since November 2004.

Michelle Mercier holds a degree in Business
Administration from McGill University. Having served as
Director of the Kidney Foundation of Canada from 1995 to
1997 and as Chairman and CEO of the Douglas Hospital
Foundation since 1997, Ms. Mercier is ideally suited to
meet serious fundraising challenges in both major donation
and planned gift campaigns.

Her singular expertise and know-how will be
invaluable assets for implementing the MHI Foundation's ambitious
objectives in the years to come.
