MHI bestowed a record-breaking amount for 2004-2005 thanks to the invaluable support of its partners
The Montreal Heart Institute Foundation (MHIF) is
pleased to announce that it was able to turn over an astounding
$9,417,616 to its Institute for 2004-2005. Announced on June 10,
2004 during the MHIF's general assembly, this record-breaking
amount will fund various research and technological development
projects.
Part of the money has been earmarked for a new
hemodynamics room and state-of-the-art equipment, including a
nuclear medicine camera and a tomodensitometre (CT scanner) with
a computer and display console.
The funds will also finance the development of the
MHI's Research Centre and thereby preserve the Institute's
pioneering status all over the world.
The Foundation's directors and staff are very proud
to support the MHI and its employees in their development and are
deeply grateful to all the donors and collaborators who made this
acquisition possible. Thanks to their generosity, the Montreal
Heart Institute can offer Quebecers the best cardiology care in
the world, right here in Montréal.
