About the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation

The Montreal Heart Institute Foundation (MHIF) is one of the most active foundations in the Montreal community. The MHIF is financially supported by some 30,000 annual donations made by patients, their families and other generous donors. In the last decade, the Foundation has distribute over $70 million to the Montreal Heart Institute, and since its creation in 19777 it enables many scientists to pursue research that often would not have been possible otherwise. The Foundation is also proud to be backed by over a thousand corporate partners of every size in the form of donations or sponsorships.

Our Mission

To raise and manage various funds to support research and technological development at the Montreal Heart Institute (MHI), t in order to promote the excellence of an institution serving all Quebecers.
