Mélanie La Couture appointed the new Executive Director

The executive committee of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mélanie La Couture as Executive Director of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation.

Ms. La Couture graduated from the Université de Montréal’s École Polytechnique with an engineering degree, and earned an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. She began her professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte Consulting.

Before joining the Foundation, Ms. La Couture had served as Chief Operating Officer of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal since 2002.

On behalf of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, I welcome Ms. La Couture to the team. I feel certain she will receive the full support and cooperation of everyone here in the pursuit of the Foundation’s mission to serve the Montreal Heart Institute, its staff, and its patients. Ms. La Couture will assume her new position on May 13.
